Wetheringsett Village Summer Fete

It’s been announced – it’s happening!

What is? The Great Wetheringsett Bake Off, that’s what.

With several categories to choose from, there’s sure to be one for everyone – from Mini Baker all the way through to the famous Showstopper.

This year’s event is proudly sponsored by The Cedar’s Pantry – Farm Shop and Café and Wetheringsett Manor School, who are both offering fantastic prizes for the winners.

Judging will be fierce, with the judging panel still to be announced, but it’s bound to be an interesting (and difficult!) decision to award those coveted rosettes.

Download the application form and full rules to secure your place. Please complete the form and bring it along with your bake to the Fete. It would be really helpful if you could also send a quick email to villagefete@wetheringsettvillagehall.org to let the team know you intend to enter.

Once judging has taken place, the entries will be shared as part of the Fete buffet — assuming the judges have left any behind.

We have had a few enquiries from people that would like a stall at our Summer Fete, however still room for a few more.

Please get in touch with your completed form if you are interested. You can download the form here.

We are sure there are some crafty type people out there that would like to share their wares!

Exciting news!

We’re delighted to confirm the musical entertainment for the afternoon of the Fete. The Stand and Deliver Band and Musicians will be joining us on the Meadow, performing a wonderful variety of songs and tunes throughout the event.

We’re also very pleased to welcome back the lovely Laura, whose beautiful singing many of you will remember from last year’s Solstice Fete. Her performance was a real highlight, and we can’t wait to enjoy her voice once again!

Summer Fete – Stall Holders & Volunteers Wanted!

We can now confirm that Wetheringsett’s Summer Fete will take place on Saturday 27 June 2026 on the Village Hall Meadow, and we’re now inviting:

Stall Holders

Local crafts, produce, games, charities and community groups are all very welcome. If you’d like to run a stall, we’d love to hear from you.

Volunteers

We also need friendly volunteers to help make the day run smoothly, including:

  • Car parking
  • Supervision of the bouncy castle
  • General assistance around the Meadow

You don’t need to commit for the whole day – any help is greatly appreciated.
