Volunteer Opportunity – Grant Finder

Do you enjoy research, organising information, or helping good causes thrive?

Wetheringsett Village Hall is looking for a friendly volunteer to help us identify and apply for grant funding that will support improvements, community activities, and future projects.

What does the role involve?

  • Searching for grant opportunities from councils, charities, businesses and other funding bodies
  • Helping us match grants to Village Hall needs
  • Drafting or assisting with simple applications (we’ll help!)
  • Working with our Committee to secure funding for local improvements

How much time is needed?

It’s flexible! Even a small amount of time each month could make a huge difference.

Pizza Nights Are Back!

You will be pleased to know that The Mobile Pizza Co have confirmed they will be in our Car Park on the following dates:

  • 27th February
  • 13th March

  • 27th March

We are trying to get our WiFi extended so that the payment machine will work, but in the meantime, please remember its Cash Only.

Get ready for an evening of craic agus ceol (fun and music) as we celebrate St Patrick’s Night in true Irish style! We’re thrilled to welcome a father-and-son duo who will fill the hall with Irish tunes and captivating stories straight from the Emerald Isle.

Expect lively jigs, soulful ballads, and tales that will transport you to the heart of Ireland. Whether you’re Irish by birth or just in spirit, this is your chance to raise a glass and say Sláinte! (Cheers!) with friends and neighbours.

So, dust off your green, bring your best smile, and join us for a night of music, laughter, and memories. Beidh sé iontach! (It will be amazing!)

The Box Office

We are going to be using Ticket Tailor as partner for our Event ticket sales in the future. This will keep things simple and, hopefully, easy for everyone to use.

This is a new route for us and we hope there won’t be any teething problems, but rest assured, we will be watching carefully to make sure it is all working as it should.

An Evening (or two) of Festive Fun & Frivolity!

Well, what can we say? Curtains Up! have done it again and filled our Village Hall to capacity for their Christmas Production.

Both Friday and Saturday nights were sell outs and everyone that attended had a truly fantastic time.

Mobile Pizza Nights at the Village Hall

Pop Up Food Truck Services No Comments

We’re pleased to announce that The Mobile Pizza Co will be visiting Wetheringsett Village Hall on Friday 14th and Friday 21st November, serving freshly made, wood-fired pizzas from 5pm to 7pm.

This is a trial run, and if it proves popular, we hope to welcome them back regularly as part of the village calendar. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy a delicious meal close to home and support a new local offering.

Please help spread the word—especially to those who may not use social media—so we can give this initiative the best chance of success. We look forward to seeing you there!
