A Village Fete for next year?

The Village Hall team has heard your calls for an annual village fete, and we’re excited to announce we’re looking into bringing it back next year.

We’re a small, hard-working group, but we can’t do it alone. We need your help to make this happen!

If you’re interested in getting involved and helping us organize a fete for the village, we’re looking for a small group of enthusiastic volunteers to take the lead. You’ll work with the Village Hall committee to make sure the fete is a big success.

If you want to see a fete and are ready to make it happen, please contact either:

  • Colin: 0799 948 0369
  • Hilary: 0751 999 9265

We are both on WhatsApp. Don’t assume someone else will do it—we need you!

Planning needs to start as soon as possible so that we can book whatever attractions we want to be included!

Friends of the Hall

Our Hall is currently looked after by a small group of volunteers who, to be honest, sometimes struggle to cope with everything that needs to be done to keep the Hall in tip top condition whilst at the same time securing more bookings to keep funds coming in.

Can you lend a hand?

Lots of people helping out in front of a Village Hall
(We know that this image is not our Hall, but sure you get the gist of it!)

We’re always looking for local helpers to support with:

  • General upkeep (cleaning, gardening, small repairs)
  • Event help (setting up, serving refreshments, welcoming guests)
  • Planning and organising future activities
  • Sharing your skills — admin, tech, crafts, anything!

Whether you’ve got a little time or a lot, your help makes a big difference. It’s a great way to meet people, support your community, and keep the Hall at the heart of village life.

Interested? Please get in touch, either on here, on our Facebook Page, or grab one of the Team at the next event.

Let’s keep Wetheringsett Village Hall thriving – together!
